How we handle your information

What we collect

Two buckets. Information you give us directly when you fill out the quote form or call us: your name, phone number, property address, and which services you checked off (roofing, siding, gutters, windows, repair, painting, interior). Information your browser sends automatically on any site visit: IP address, device and browser type, the page that referred you, the pages you viewed, and approximate location based on IP.

How we use it

Quote-form data goes to our team and our customer-management system so we can call you back, schedule an estimate, and follow up on the project. Browsing data feeds into Google Analytics so we can see which pages work and where the site needs fixing.

Who we share it with

We use Google Analytics for site measurement. We use Google Maps Places to power the address autocomplete on the quote form, which means your typed address is sent to Google as you type. We use AccuLynx, a roofing-industry customer-management platform, to track and follow up on quote requests. We use cloud hosting and infrastructure providers to deliver the site and process your quote submission.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share your contact details with third parties for their marketing.

If a project moves forward, we may share necessary details with the shingle manufacturer to register your warranty, or with your insurance carrier if we are working a storm claim on your behalf.

How we protect it in transit

The whole site loads over HTTPS, so everything you send is encrypted in transit. Quote-form submissions get an extra layer: your details are encrypted in your browser before they leave your device and can only be decrypted by our backend. The contents stay unreadable to anyone in between.

Cookies

We do not write any cookies ourselves. The tools we load do: Google Analytics sets analytics cookies on this domain to count visits and measure pages, and Google Maps Places may set cookies when you start filling out the quote form. You can block cookies in your browser. The site still works for browsing; the address autocomplete on the quote form may stop working.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose collected, plus what tax, warranty, and insurance-claim records require us to retain. Quote leads that never become customers are removed from active records on a regular schedule. Customer project records are retained for the life of the warranty. Analytics data follows Google's retention defaults.

Your rights

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of sale or sharing. We honor it. Since we do not sell or share personal information, the signal changes nothing in practice, but it is respected.

We do not collect biometric information; Illinois BIPA does not apply to anything on this site.

Children

The site is not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, call us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No system on the internet is fully secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, the new policy posts here with an updated date at the top. Material changes get more visible notice.
